Announcement    Hi Everone!

Thank you so much for supporting my shop.

Sooo…

The Nowlins have moved! We are very excited to be closer to family.

Thankfully NYC is portable. I cannot even guess how many orders I have worked on while my husband was driving the car.

During this transition, I have debated whether or not I should put my shop on vacation. Most of the items I have posted right now are custom orders, so I have already factored in construction times. But as we get closer to the moving day, I have had to pack up my yarn and fabric supplies so that we can stage the house for selling. This means that I am going to have to put the shop on vacation mode for a while soon.

In the past, I have posted about how my crocheting has helped to reduce my anxiety. I have come to a point in my life where I am realizing how much the stress of working in public education has had an effect on my health, the relationships I have with others, and my overall outlook on life. While I love being a elementary school librarian, I have decided to step away from school life. I will spending more time cooking for my family, praying, and creating silly hats for my Etsy shop, and improving my quilting skills.

I am looking forward to posting new pictures soon!

All of my items are one of a kind. Even though I make items with the same patterns over and over, each item always comes out slightly different. This is especially true when I make faces. I can never get two hat faces to look exactly alike.

If you see something in my shop that you would like in a different color, or if you are looking for a matching pair of something, please send me a message. I love making custom custom orders.

Gift wrapping is available for all items.

I enjoy knitting and crocheting, but I can crochet faster. Most of my items are currently crocheted.


Christmas decorations, doilies, and bookmarks are all made with cotton crochet thread.
Unless specified as being made with cotton yarn, most of my potholders are made with acrylic yarn.
Dishcloths are made with cotton yarn.
Treasure bags, headbands, hats, and scarves can be either knitted or crocheted using a variety of different yarns.
Scrubbies are made with cotton yarn or nylon tulle.
Toys are made with a variety of different yarns.

I also make custom orders on potholders, scarves, headbands, treasure bags, and dishcloths. If you do not see a color you like, please send me a message. We can discuss your color preferences. If you would like some ideas as to what other colors might look like, please check out the sold items in my shop.
